LIMEHOUSE
LONDON

This distinctive 3,200 square foot film location is set within a converted Victorian factory in Poplar, East London, overlooking the peaceful Limehouse Cut canal. The building’s industrial past, rooted in the area's manufacturing heritage, provides a character-rich setting that blends historical grit with modern refinement. Ideally situated for productions requiring East London authenticity, the site offers both visual impact and logistical convenience, just a short distance from the heart of the city.

Spanning three floors, this architect-designed studio space has been curated with a filmmaker’s eye. It features dramatic triple-height ceilings and a unique three-walled mezzanine with cantilevered balconies—ideal for dynamic camera angles and elevated perspectives. Eleven large crittall-style windows allow natural light to flood the space throughout the day, highlighting the contrasting textures of exposed brick, painted masonry, clean white surfaces, and steel-framed glass.
The aesthetic is minimalist yet warm, with industrial elements carefully balanced against a sleek, contemporary design. A restored 100-year-old barn door opens via folding glass panels onto a canal-facing balcony, providing a striking interior-to-exterior transition shot. The layout has been designed to be both visually captivating and highly functional for a wide range of productions, from editorial and fashion to film and branded content.
