SAUDI ARABIA’S NOAM IS ONE TO WATCH

NEOM, the sustainable region taking shape in northwest Saudi Arabia, has recently announced its partnership with Telfaz11, a studio that specializes in content from the Middle East. This collaboration aims to foster the creation of up to nine TV and film projects over the next three years, with two feature films and one series currently in development.

As part of its efforts to create a world-class media hub, NEOM has also provided the backdrop for 30 productions, including "Desert Warrior," directed by Rupert Wyatt, and "Million Dollar Island," a reality TV show. With infrastructure, crew depth, industry learning programs, and a competitive incentive scheme, NEOM is continuing to lay a strong foundation as a production powerhouse.

The hub's collaboration with Telfaz11 will further strengthen its position as a leading player in the regional media industry by providing the industry with a continuous flow of productions and developing a vibrant talent pool across the value chain.

NEOM Media Village and Bajdah Desert Studios, the hub's two state-of-the-art production facilities, have already supported over 25 productions, including "Rise of The Witches," the region's biggest-ever TV show, and "Desert Warrior," which featured Anthony Mackie, Sir Ben Kingsley, and Aiysha Hart.

The production facilities are home to world-class production facilities, including set production offices, construction warehouses, prop shops, wardrobe, SFX facilities, and backlot space to support complex set builds. Film and ancillary equipment including cameras, grip and lighting, shotover, heavy-lift drones, telehandlers, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and trackway are available on both sites.

In addition to these physical facilities, NEOM's experienced international production team offers a seamless and cost-efficient production experience. This team supports incoming productions, ensuring they have a smooth and efficient production experience.

As NEOM continues to grow and prosper, the partnership with Telfaz11, along with NEOM's infrastructure, talent pool, and competitive incentive scheme, puts the hub in a position to become a focal point of collaboration among talent, creators, and key contributors within the global media industry, solidifying its status as a production powerhouse in the region.
